    and easy maintenance

There are two types of slideway mechanisms used in CNC lathes: sliding guides and linear-motion (rolling) guides. Rolling guides are generally known for their smooth movement, but our advanced hand-scraping techniques compensate for the sliding guide’s weakness in extremely fine motion. As a result, our machines retain the advantages of sliding guides—stability, rigidity, and long-term durability.

A company with 133 years of history,
advancing together with its customers

Kitamura Machine Works Co., Ltd., founded in 1893 in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, began producing machine tools as an exclusive factory for Seikosha (now SEIKO GROUP CORPORATION). Since then, together with our customers, we have continued to contribute to improving productivity in manufacturing.

We customize our standard models to meet the specifications required by our customers. Compared to manufacturing a machine from scratch, this approach allows us to reduce costs while still providing the optimal machine for each customer.
